Moving into a residential nursing home, even for a short period of recuperation, is a big step for anyone and you and your loved one are bound to have lots of questions about what their new life there will be like.
So we’ve detailed below a few of the most common questions we get asked to help you get a full picture of what they can look forward to.
Where will my home be?
If you like the ambience of stylish traditional buildings combined with living near the sea, Mount Olivet is the home for you.
Originally constructed during the elegant Edwardian era, Mount Olivet’s outstanding feature is it’s wonderful panoramic views of the sea. There’s nothing better than sitting out on the upper decking and just soaking up the mild climate, sea air and stunning views of Torbay. It’s great for mind, body and soul!
Even if the weather means you can’t sit outside you’ll still be able to enjoy the views from the light and airy conservatory, which is a great place to sit and read, chat with friends or lose yourself in quiet contemplation.
Inside the home has been completely modernised and tastefully decorated whilst still retaining it’s original character. There are two main communal areas. The main lounge, where you can join in the many activities we have or simply relax and catch up on a bit of TV, and the conservatory.
Many of the bedrooms and the dining area also look out across the bay so you’re never far from and a truly inspirational view.
